I have a 2019 MacBook Pro running Big Sur and am using beta 3 of VfxForthOsx64 posted on 20 November 2020. I haven't encountered any problems with my own work. This includes code which uses libraries and frameworks.

Did you run into issues installing due to unsigned binaries and dylibs? Or is protection turned off for your machine? I just posted yesterday what I saw when trying on both my iMac and M1 MacBook.

No problems whatever. See my answer to the question about unsigned binaries.

VFX Forth 64 runs fine on Intel. An M1 version for Apple Silicon will appear next year. Please don't press me for dates - it's second or third in the desktop Forth queue depending on demand.

“depending on demand” — very well, it is demanded! :)
Does VFX or the cross compiler generate AArch64 code? This could be an interim step - run VFX in Intel mode on M1, cross compile to AArch64?

Reporting that once you get past the Big Sur signed binaries issue ...
It runs fine on Apple M1, albeit running in Rosetta 2 and producing Intel code. :)

Just wondering, is the 64-bit ARM VFX still planned? This is the last mention of it I can find in the forum. The new Mac Studio computers make an 64-bit ARM VFX especially attractive now.
